William Kent Mehrle, 47, of Lutz, Fla., died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at his home. He was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ in Cape Girardeau. A prayer service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Desert Garden United Church of Christ in Sun City West.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Cape Girardeau.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
