ESSEX -- William Marvin Causey, 77, of Essex died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1996, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 25, 1919, in Frisco, son of Bertis and Della Jones Causey.

He married Dora Lee Lawrence Jan. 13, 1945, in Piggott, Ark. She survives.

He had been a bus driver with the Richland public schools before his retirement.

He also is survived by two daughters, Glenda McNair of Mountain Home, Ark., and Nola Thomason of Bernie; three brothers, Ralph Causey of Fisk, anmd Bobby and Billy Causey, both of Sikeston; one sister, Helen Summers of Bernie; and one granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Brother Herman Morse officiating. Burial will be in the Essex Cemetery.
