William Ray Lincoln, 65, of Whitewater died Thursday, April 5, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 9, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, son of William E. Ray and Dorris S. Neilson Lincoln. He and Shelba Grindstaff were married June 18, 1960, in Jackson.
William was a 1960 graduate of the former Lutesville High School. He worked 46 years at the former Cape Supply (now Huttig Building Products) in Cape Girardeau. He attended First Baptist Church in Millersville.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, William Dale Lincoln of Leopold, Mo., Ronald Ray Lincoln of Gordonville; a sister, Dorothy Wilson of Goreville, Ill.; and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Daniel Hale officiating. Burial will be in Lessley Cemetery west of Gravel Hill, Mo.
