GRASSY, Mo. -- William Norman Leinger, 74, of Grassy died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 3, 1929, in St. Louis, son of Eugene and Mamie Strubelt Leinger.
Leinger had been a boilermaker with Combustion Engineering.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a sister, Francis Mayberry of Cedar Hill, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Liley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
