SIKESTON, Mo. -- William Thomas "Dub" Kelley Sr., 78, of Sikeston died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at Clearview Nursing Home in Sikeston.
He was born Sept. 30, 1926, at Sikeston, son of Homer and Myrtle Alexander Kelley. He and Glenda Mae Denbow were married Sept. 13, 1949, at Piggott, Ark.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and was a security guard for Missouri Delta Medical Center and Turner Dairy before retiring.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, William T. "Dubby" Kelley Jr. of Wickliffe, Ky., Roy Blake Kelly of Orlando, Fla., Greg Kelley of Bloomfield, Mo., Jeff Kelley and Colen Kelley, both of Sikeston; a daughter, Debra Dodds of Searcy, Ark.; a sister, Jessie Cruise of Morehouse, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston with full military rites.
