WILLIAM JEFFIE HAHN

PERRYVILLE -- William Jeffie Hahn, 87, of Yount died Friday, April 25, 1997, at Beverly Health and Rehab Services in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 1, 1910, at Silver Lake, son of John Henry and Mary Julie Whistler Hahn.

He married Edith M. Hendrix, June 17, 1933. She died Sept. 12, 1996.

He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at Silver Lake. He was a road maintenance worker before retiring.

He is survived by a son, Leroy William Hahn of Patton; four daughters, Lena Mae Fulton, Lee Ann Smith and Leona Kay Webb, all of Patton, and Leola Jane McDowell of Perryville; two brothers, Earl Hahn and Lawrence Hahn, both of Perryville; a sister, Mary Evans of Bloomsdale; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, six brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter.

Service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be at Whitewater Christian Cemetery near Yount.

Friends may call today from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, and Monday from 6:30 a.m. to time of service.
