SILVER LAKE -- William Robert Jannin, 94, of Silver Lake died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998, at Perry Oaks Healthcare Center.
He was born July 18, 1903, in Perry County, son of Marcellus and Mary Louise Seifert Jannin. He and Mary "Edna" Layton were married April 24, 1933. She died Feb. 26, 1977.
Jannin was a farmer, and member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Kennon of Perryville; two brothers, Vince and Lester Jannin of Silver Lake; four sisters, Corene McLain, Mary Gibbar and Alma Anderson of Perryville, Gladys Gibbar of Silver Lake; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, three sisters and four brothers.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 6:30 a.m.-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-9:20 a.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose of Lima Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
