POPLAR BLUFF -- Graveside service for William J. Johnson of Poplar Bluff will be held at 11 a.m. today at Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, with Marsh Watkins officiating.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter after 10 a.m.
Johnson, 74, died Monday, Jan. 30, 1995, at Westwood Hills Health Care Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born Aug. 14, 1920, in Poplar Bluff, son of Silas and Idra Souders Johnson. He and Jessie Harvey were married Feb. 6, 1950, in Piggott, Ark.
Johnson was a retired construction worker. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Donald Johnson of Poplar Bluff, and a sister, Goldie Merritt of Kennett.
