ANNA, Ill. -- William J. "Bud" Prewitt, 65, of Venice Fla., formerly of Union County and Davenport, Iowa, died June 14, 1992, at his home.

He was born May 29, 1927, in Alto Pass, the son of William Delbert and Ethel Barker Prewitt.

He was the former owner of Prescon Motor Co. and Volkswagen Blackhawk in Davenport, Iowa.

Survivors are his mother, Ethel Prewitt, Anna; a son, the Rev. Bill Prewitt, Pender, Neb.; a sister, Margaret Lavender, Hurst, Ill.; and four grandchildren.

Grave-side service was held Thursday at Casper Cemetery in Anna with the Rev. Bill Prewitt officiating.

Crain Funeral Home of Anna was in charge of arrangements.
