JACKSON -- William Earl Hunt, 77, of Jackson died Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 17, 1921, at Poplar Bluff, son of Herbert and Bertie Admire Hunt. He and Betty Marie Favier were married July 19, 1974, at Pocahontas.
Hunt had worked at Jackson Oil Co. and at Procter & Gamble. He served with the U.S. Army in the European Theater during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Christina Streiler, Gail Howard and Debra Kieninger of Jackson, Cindy Meyer of Scott City; three brothers, Bob Hunt of St. Louis, Fred Landrieth of Fisk, Arvel Landrieth of Denmark, S.C.; a sister, Opal Ennis of Tulsa, Okla.; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and a great-grandchild.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until service time.
