William Henry Hester, 69, 325 N. Sprigg, died Monday, July 17, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born Sept. 25, 1925, at Malden, son of Robert Allison and Anna Maude Taylor Hester Sr. Hester had been a tow motor operator with Layne Bottling Plant. William Henry Hester, 69, 325 N. Sprigg, died Monday, July 17, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Sept. 25, 1925, at Malden, son of Robert Allison and Anna Maude Taylor Hester Sr.

Hester had been a tow motor operator with Layne Bottling Plant. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Malden.

Survivors include a brother, W. Dee Hester of Malden; four sisters, Kathryn Hester and Jeanette Wright of Malden, Clara Jaques of Fenton and Barbara Mitchell of Dunwood, Ga.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, with the Rev. Eric Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Park Cemetery at Malden.
