CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for William Henry "Bill" Fox Jr. of Charleston will be held at 11 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
Fox, 63, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, following a brief illness.
He was born Aug. 2, 1930, near Charleston, son of William Henry and Christine Opal Hurley Fox Sr. He and Margaret Helen Watson were married Aug. 19, 1957. She died Feb. 24, 1990.
Fox owned and operated Fox Refrigeration in Charleston, and was a member of First Baptist Church here. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include a son, William Fox of Sikeston; a daughter, Melony Hubbert of Charleston; two brothers, Charles Fox of Monroe, La., Donald Fox of Warner Robins, Ga.; a sister, Ruth Feezor of Charleston, and five grandchildren.
