ANNA, Ill. -- William F. "Bill" Plott, 59, of Anna, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 1995, at his home.
He was born Dec. 26, 1935, in Dixon, son of Lee and Carrie Foster Plott. He and Joan Barringer were married May 14, 1955, near Anna.
Plott had been a truck driver with Colonial Bread Co., and was currently a fishing guide at Kentucky Lake. He was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church, Anna Masonic Lodge 520 AF&AM, and the Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Southern Illinois.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Billie Plott of Anna; a daughter, Cheryl Hinkle of Murphysboro; a brother, Robert E. "Gene" Plott of Anna; a sister, Norma Batson of Cahokia, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. today. Masonic service will be at 7:30.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clifton Lingle officiating. Burial will be in Big Creek Cemetery.
