EAST PRAIRIE - East Prairie resident William F. "Bunk" Wilson died Friday, Dec. 14, 1990 at Gideon. He was 58.
Wilson was born Oct. 1, 1932 in Pemiscot County, the son of the late Charlie Doss and Zella Bruce Wilson. He was a retired truck driver and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Evans Wilson, of the home; sons Terry, Kevin and Paul Wilson, all of Austin, Texas; step-sons Jeff and Mark Burkeen, also of Austin, Texas; daughters Peggy Waters, of Elsie, Mich., Paula Allen of Ballwin, and Kaye Bruce of LaPeer, Mich.; brothers Dean Wilson of Dover, Ark., Sharron E. Wilson of Puxico, Ronnie Wilson of Morley, Ray Wilson of Clarkston, Mich., Norman Wilson of Advance, George Wilson of Sikeston, and Bryan "Dobbie" Wilson of Pontiac, Mich.; sisters Janey Barker of Campbell, Bonnie Boyd of Dover, Ark., Mildred Hill of East Prairie, and Faye Brainer of Benton; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Dry Bayou Baptist Church near Hayti, with the Rev. Charlie Green, pastor of the First General Baptist Church of East Prairie, presiding.
Burial will be in the Dry Bayou Cemetery.
