CRESTWOOD, Mo. -- William E. "Bill" Eastwood, Jr., 83, of Crestwood died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009 at his home. CRESTWOOD, Mo. -- William E. "Bill" Eastwood, Jr., 83, of Crestwood died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009 at his home.

He was born Aug. 12, 1926, in Cape Girardeau to William Earl and Lillie Reed Eastwood Sr. Mr. Eastwood was a veteran of World War II, serving as a merchant seaman, and a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army.

He and Sandra J. Douglas were married Jan. 27, 1960, at Granite City, Ill. Mr. Eastwood worked in construction as project superintendent for 55 years. He was a member of the Webster Groves Masonic Lodge No. 84.

Survivors include his spouse, Sandra J. Eastwood of Crestwood; two sons, James (Sue) Eastwood of Catawissa, Mo., and Rex Keenan of the state of Washington; two daughters, Susan (Ken) Ehret of Fenton, Mo., and Marsha (James) Brooks of Edwardsville, Ill.; a sister, Lavonda (Charles) Kinealy of Imperial, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, Matthew, Jacquelyn, Jennifer (Jake), Amanda (Tony), Stephanie, Michelle, Stacy, Melissa, Daniel and Joseph; five great-grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan, Brayden, Lane and Kailin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Wanda Eastwood.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Monty Roark and Dr. James R. Brooks officiating.

Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau with full military honors conducted by the Missouri Honors Team.
