William Christian Dunham, 63, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born March 2, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, son of William W. and Mary Reisenbichler. He married the former Diane Arras Harvey.
William owned William C. Dunham Insurance Agency 23 years. He loved Texas hold 'em, playing the guitar, fishing for trout and bass, and playing the piano. He was an Eagle Scout and commander of American Legion Post 632 in Lake St. Louis.
Survivors include his wife, Diane; mother, Mary Dunham; two daughters, Jamie Lynn (Josh) Purtle and Kirsten Diane Dunham; a stepson, Greg Steven Arras; a stepdaughter, Jamie Nicole Green; two brothers, Bob (Jan) Dunham and Tim (Rhonda) Dunham; a sister, Mary Catherine Underwood; three nephews, Brian and Patrick Dunham and Billy Underwood; a niece, Misty (Jerry) Dority; twin grandchildren, Jordyn and Jackson Purtle; a stepgranddaughter, Kendra Green; and numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. today at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville, Missouri.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Charles Memorial Gardens in St. Charles, Missouri.
