ANNA, Ill. -- William Marshall Crider, 83, of Anna died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, at City Care Center.
He was born Aug. 2, 1925, in East Prairie, Mo., son of Frank and Mattie Grant Crider. He and Inis Kathryn Forby were married Nov. 24, 1951, in Trussville, Ala.
Crider was a press operator and worked 30 years at General Motors Corp.
Survivors include his wife; five children, Marshall Crider of Mary Esther, Fla.; Marsha Simmons of Bourbonnais, Ill., Bobbie Crider of Conroe, Texas, Delaina Caise of Knoxville, Tenn., Allen Crider of Berthoud, Colo.; two sisters, Clara Daniels of Chaffee, Mo., Gertrude Kohr of Scott City; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and a half brother.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
