POTOSI, Mo. -- William "Bill" Cox, 71, of Potosi died Monday, March 28, 2005, at Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi.
He was born Feb. 13, 1934, at Green Cox, son of Frank and Dosha Litteral Cox.
Cox was a 1952 graduate of Advance High School in Advance, Mo. He had been a machinist in St. Louis.
He was a master sergeant in the U.S. Army 10 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Cox of San Francisco, Calif.; two brothers, Carmen Cox of Collinsville, Ill., Albert Cox of Cape Girardeau; and a sister, Alma Moore of Marble Hill, Mo.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Burial will be at a later date in Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis.
Morgan Funeral Home in Advance is in charge of arrangements.
