JACKSON -- William "Bill" Waller, 58, of Jackson died Friday, May 1, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 14, 1940, at St. Louis, the son of William C. and Vivian E. McPeters Waller.

He married Betty Fornkohl Glueck on May 31, 1997.

He graduated from the former Patton High School. He worked for the former Tate Distributing Co. of Cape Girardeau. He owned Waller Construction Co. from 1970 to 1986. For the past 10 years, he worked for Jackson's city water department.

He was reared as a Catholic and was a member of the TPA.

Survivors include his wife of Jackson; two sons, Mark and Kelly Waller of Jackson; a daughter, Leigh Ann Steele of Jackson; two stepsons, Donnie Joe Glueck of Jackson and Mike Glueck of Aurora, Colo.; two stepdaughters, Debbie Banks of Collierville, Tenn. and Gena Steele of Atoka, Tenn.; a brother, Mike Waller of Jackson; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. James Seyer will officiate. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery.
