William Richard Bagwell, 62, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 13, 1936, at Columbus, Ky., son of John and Rebecca Slayton Bagwell. He and Nita Lankford were married on Sept. 28, 1968.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
He retired as a line pair leader from Procter & Gamble in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Paula Rouggly of St. Louis and Lisa Leible and Rebecca Simmons, both of Cape Girardeau; a brother, John Bagwell Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz.; six sisters, Peggy Copeland of Fulton, Ky., Virginia Osborne of St. Peters, Mary Foulk of Chaffee, Claudia Rollett of Perryville, Judy Knox of Seneca, S.C., and Caroline Graffius of Virginia Beach, Va.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The Rev. William Marshall will officiate, with burial in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
