William B. Poston, 62, of Waco, Texas, died Monday, April 12, 1993, while vacationing in Branson.
He was born Oct. 29, 1929, in Cape Girardeau, son of William B. and Mildred Sitze Poston Sr. He and Lucille Pick were married April 23, 1955.
Poston served in the U.S. Army from 1946-69. He owned Bill's Upholstery in Waco from 1970 until retiring in 1991. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waco.
Survivors include his wife; his mother, Jackson Route 2; three brothers, Rodney and Ronald Poston of Cape Girardeau, Richard Poston, Jackson Route 6, and a sister, Janet Poston, Jackson Route 2.
Funeral service will be Thursday at Bellmead Funeral Home in Waco. Burial will be in Riesel Cemetery in Riesel, Texas.
