WILLIAM A. CAMPBELL

PORTAGEVILLE -- Funeral service for William Allen Campbell of Portageville will be held at 10 a.m. today at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville. The Rev. Hershel Godair will officiate, with burial in Portageville Cemetery.

Campbell, 74, died Thursday, April 27, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 20, 1920, in Short, Miss., son of Mac and Sinnie House Campbell. He and Mary Lou Stout were married April 5, 1941, in Osceola, Ark.

Survivors include his wife; seven sons, Carl and Billy Campbell of Rockford, Ill., Ronnie Campbell of Truman, Ark., Robert and Tommy Campbell of Cape Girardeau, Walter Campbell of Pacific, Sammy Campbell of Vero Beach, Fla.; six daughters, Doris Morse, Carla Farmer and Diane Miller of Portageville, Maxine Lee of Rockford, Imogean Cato of Blytheville, Ark., Kay Brandenburg of Armorel, Ark.; two sisters, Veller Godsey and Francis Davis; 45 grandchildren, and 36 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, two brothers, a grandchild and a great-grandchild.
