COBDEN, Ill. -- Willard F. Pearson, 88, of Cobden died Monday, Sept. 14, 1998, at his home.
He was born Jan. 1, 1910, at Cobden, son of Horace and Allie M. Pearson. He and Gladys DuRall were married in 1960 in Anna.
Pearson was retired from his trucking and construction business. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Ruth Tellor and Barbara Hull of Cobden; a son, Elvis "Bud" Pearson of Cobden; two stepsons, Junior DuRall of Anna, Bob Smith of Kankakee; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Clifford Heil and DeWayne Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
