FRIEDHEIM, Mo. -- Willard Ralph Kranawetter, 70, of Friedheim passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at his residence.
He was born April 27, 1941, in Pocahontas, son of Rudolph Reinhold and Marjorie L. Baker Kranawetter. He and Vivian Kieninger were married May 30, 1964, in Lemay, Mo. She survives.
Willard is a lifelong farmer of the Friedheim area. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Friedheim.
In addition to his loving wife, survivors include two daughters, Lisa (Chris) Lozier of Ozark and Becky (Tom) Unger of Frohna; a son, Ralph (Connie) Kranawetter of Friedheim; five grandchildren, Shannon (Craig) Russell of Battlefield, Mo., Anthony May of Springfield, Mo., Bobby Unger and Dusty Unger, both of Frohna, and Drew Kranawetter of Friedheim; and expecting one great-grandchild, Benton Lee Russell.
Also surviving is a stepmother, Bernetta Kranawatter of Perryville, Mo.; a stepbrother, Gary (Pam) Sides of Oak Ridge; two stepsisters, Doris (Ron) Keethler of St. Charles and Lori (Donnie) Light of Perryville; two stepgrandchildren, Joshua Lozier of Louisiana and Crystal Lozier of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Shirley Bodenschatz.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson and from 9:30 a.m. to service time Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Roger Steinbrueck officiating.
Interment will follow in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Friedheim.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church of Friedheim or United in Christ Lutheran School in Frohna.
