BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Willard Woodrow Johns, 90, of Bloomfield died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 5, 1915, in Advance, Mo., son of Harry and Vallie Revelle Johns. He and Lillian Cazadd were married Dec. 6, 1939, at Zalma, Mo.

Willard was a retired farmer and attended Sturdivant and Bloomfield General Baptist churches.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Vance Johns of Sikeston, Mo.; two daughters, Wilma Cooper of Bloomfield, Welda Hunt of Jonesboro, Ark.; two brothers, Calvin "Perk" Johns of Godfrey, Ill., Bobby Johns of Jerseyville, Ill.; two sisters, Lucy Sadler of Alton, Ill., Vivian Hodge of Puxico, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, with the Rev. Kevin Eskew officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
