SIKESTON -- Willard F. Mount, 82, of Frankford, died Wednesday, April 24, 1991, at Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana, Mo.
He was born Feb. 11, 1909, at Sikeston, son of Frank E. and Nellie C. Short Mount. He married the former Mary Vernon Maddox.
Mount lived in the Frankford area 40 years. He had been a repairman with an electronics firm, and was a member of the United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Frank Mount of Hannibal, Robert Mount of New London; two daughters, Harriet Dipple of St. Charles, Carla Heath of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three sisters, Lucile Mount of Sikeston, Virginia Gallivan of New Madrid, Carrie Hancock of Winter Garden, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Charles Buck will officiate, with burial in Sikeston City Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service.
