Wilfred Everett

WAPPAPELLO, Mo. -- Wilfred Crain "Twinkie" Everett, 78, of Wappapello died Thursday, May 17, 2007, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

He was born May 13, 1929, in Detroit, son of Neely "Bud" and Arles E. Crain Everett. He and Shirley Ann Revelle were married May 18, 1947, in Advance, Mo.

Everett was general sales manager with Hart's Bakery and distributor for Hostess Bakery. He was a master Mason and member of Masonic Lodge 590 in Advance.

Survivors include two sons, Randy Everett of Jackson, Bill Everett of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; a daughter, Canda Everett of Kansas City; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, a son and a sister.

There is no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Wappapello.
