WHITEWATER -- Wilbur Joel Willer, 83, of Whitewater died Saturday, Dec. 15, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 25, 1912, at Gordonville to Martin Henry and Christina Fisher Willer.
On April 12, 1934, he married Stella Cook at Whitewater. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Jerry Willer of East Prairie; two daughters: Linda Blumenberg of Whitewater and Pat Neumeyer of Jackson; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
He was a lifelong member of Zion United Methodist Church of Gordonville and its men's club. He is a former president of Gordonville Mutual Insurance Co.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson and from 10-11 a.m. Monday at Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Conway Briscoe III will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
