WILBUR A. MCCLAIN

ADVANCE -- Funeral service for Wilbur Austin McClain of Granite City, Ill., will be held at noon today at Irwin Chapel in Granite City. The Rev. Max E. Wood will officiate, with burial in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates at Edwardsville, Ill.

McClain, 62, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 1994, at his home.

He was born June 13, 1932, in Advance, son of Wilbur and Sarah Lowe McClain. He married the former Velma Carnell.

McClain had been a machinist at Raming Tool Co. in St. Louis 20 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Ginger Roberts of Granite City; a son, Mike McClain of Sedalia; four sisters, Jewell Delavan of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., Myrtle Tyree of Salem, Margie Stout of Granite City, Dolores Andrada of San Jose, Calif., and three grandchildren.
