WILBERT LUEDERS JR.

ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Wilbert H. "Petey" Lueders Jr., 45, of Altenburg died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 16, 1955, in Perryville, Mo., son of Wilbert "Pete" and Eileen Emmenderfer Lueders. He and Phyllis Head were married May 9, 1981.

Lueders was a mechanic at Kasten's Swap Shop and was employed at Joint Utilities Department. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Apple Creek, Mo.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Heather and Ashley Lueders; his mother; a brother, Randy Lueders; and a sister, Cindy Koeberl, all of Altenburg.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel from 4-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-10:20 a.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
