WESLEY HAERTLING

PERRYVILLE -- Wesley J. Haertling, 64, of Perryville died Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 28, 1934, at New Wells, son of Walter and Frieda Bodenschatz Haertling. He and Velda Gerringer were married Oct. 27, 1956.

Haertling farmed and raised livestock. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jeffrey, Timothy and Gregory Haertling of Perryville; three sisters, Bernice Richardson and Alice Carron of Perryville, Eunice Jahn of Jackson; a brother, Calvin Haertling of Perryville; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4:30-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 a.m.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Church, with the Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
