Wenona Harrison, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born Feb. 20, 1920, at Leachville, Ark., to Guss Hill and Edith Masters Ridings.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen (Daniel) Schlack of South Elgin, Ill., Susan (Ed) Hopkins of Vincennes, Ind.; two brothers, Dr. Harold Ridings of Cape Girardeau and Charles Ridings of Austin, Texas.
Wenona was a teacher. She was a member of Illinois Education Association, National Education Association, Southeast Missouri Hospital Auxiliary and Southeast Hospital Foundation, Delta Kappa Gamma, Gold Arrow Club, Women's Missionary Union and The Million Dollar Club.
She grew the flowers and made arrangements for Southeast Hospital Gift Shop.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Ray and Don Ridings.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Bill Vincent officiating. Interment will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or Southeast Hospice.
