MARBLE HILL -- Wendy Susan Riggs, 22, and her son Justin Michael Riggs, 4, both of Marble Hill, died Tuesday, March 9, 1993, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile-truck collision near Marble Hill.

Wendy Riggs was born Sept. 26, 1971, in San Diego, Calif., daughter of Edward E. and Susan Ryan Weston. Justin Riggs was born Oct. 15, 1988, in Carbondale, Ill., son of Timothy A. and Wendy Susan Weston Riggs.

Wendy Riggs worked as a hair stylist. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Mound City, Ill. She was a graduate of Meridian High School in Mounds, Ill.

Wendy Riggs is survived by her husband; her parents; a sister, Kerrie Weston of Mounds, Ill.; a brother, Todd Weston of Mounds, Ill.; her maternal grandparents, Mickey and Pat Ryan of Cairo, Ill.; her paternal grandmother, Christine Weston of Jonesboro, Ill.; and other relatives.

Justin Riggs is survived by his father, his paternal grandparents, his maternal grandparents, his maternal great grandparents, his paternal great-grandmother, and other relatives.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds, Ill.

Joint funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds, Ill., with the Father Bill McGhee officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Ill.
