W.E. MCGREGOR

SIKESTON -- W.E. "Gene" McGregor, 68, of Sikeston, died Monday, Jan. 4, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 2, 1924, at Glen Allen, son of Elmer and Betty Barker McGregor. He and Betty Hodges were married Sept. 15, 1945, in St. Louis.

McGregor had been regional layout manager with Montgomery Ward in Cape Girardeau, East St. Louis and Chicago for 37 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dick McGregor of Scott City, John McGregor of Blue Springs; a brother, Tom McGregor of St. Louis; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ponder Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Sikeston City Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
