CHARLESTON -- W.C. Richmond, 67, of Charleston died Sunday, Aug. 9, 1998, at his home.
He was born Oct. 19, 1930, in Greenville, son of John and Stella England Richmond. He and Maxine Berry were married March 27, 1949.
Richmond lived in Mississippi County most of his life, and worked with the Mississippi County Sheriff's Reserve.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Steve Richmond of Sikeston, Billy Richmond of Charleston; four daughters, Linda Richmond of Advance, Jo Ann Chancelor of Leesburg, Fla., Brenda Estes of Sikeston, Christine Southerland of Cookeville, Tenn.; a sister, Esther McCollough of Seattle, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday in Richmond Chapel Cemetery at Shook, with the Rev. Glenn Rogers officiating.
