W.C. "Clifford" Kirby 79, of 1539 Dunklin died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1993 at his home.
He was born Feb. 18, 1914 in Hayti, the son of Wiley and Dolly Hawks Kirby.
In January 1933, he married Carolyn Dale in Cape Girardeau. She survives of Cape Girardeau.
Kirby worked for the Frisco Railroad Company as a train dispatcher for 32 years, retiring in 1973.
He was a member of St. Mark Masonic Lodge 93 in Cape Girardeau and the Methodist Church in Hayti.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five daughters, Wanda Gaulding, Jackson, Jeane Smith, Patton, Teresa Davidson, Cape Girardeau, Pam Clifton, Perryville, Debby Seifert, Cape Girardeau; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
One sister preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be held Monday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel at 2 p.m. with the Rev. John E. Owen officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call today at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. Masonic service will be conducted by the St. Mark Lodge at 7:30 p.m.
