Wayne Wren, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.
He was born Feb. 19, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, son of Ralph A. "Sonny" and Georgia Bernadine Diamond Wren. He married Ida Brown, who died in 1996.
Wren was employed by the city of Cape Girardeau many years.
Survivors include his mother of Cape Girardeau; three sons, Ronnie and Gary Wren of Jackson, Kenny Wren of Tupelo, Miss.; three brothers, Gary "Pos" and Kenny Wren of Cape Girardeau, Donnie Wren of Jackson; three sisters, Sharon Bragg, Becky Stinnett, Teresa Wren, all of Cape Girardeau; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
