WAYNE PRATHER

GALE, Ill. -- Memorial service for Wayne Prather of Scott Bar, Calif., was held Monday in Scott Bar. Burial was in San Francisco, Calif.

Prather, 65, died Friday, April 12, 1996, in a hospital in Medford, Ore.

He was born Jan. 1, 1931, in Gale, son of Ernest and Eliza Jackson Prather. He married the former Barbara McCalster, who died in 1992.

Prather was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include two sons, John Prather of Portland, Ore., Bob Prather of Etna, Calif.; a daughter, Diane Prather of Scott Bar; three brothers, Lesley Prather of Olive Branch, Robert and Danny Prather of Gale; two sisters, Patsy Mathis and Virginia Tupper of Thebes, and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and a sister.
