MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Wayne Keith Madison, 78, of Marble Hill died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2000, at his home.
He was born Oct. 13, 1921, in Jacksonville, Ill., son of Orville Roscoe and Lula Mae Hopper Madison. He and Freda Eaker were married May 28, 1971.
Madison was a truck driver with Time DC. He was a member of First General Baptist Church in Jackson, Mo., and VFW Post 5900.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry Madison of Clermont, Fla.; a daughter, Linda Arth of Glen Carbon, Ill.; a brother, John Madison of Caldwell, Idaho; three sisters, Marguerite Robinson of Jacksonville, Thelma Ludwig of Glen Carbon, Lois Howes of Edwardsville, Ill.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery, with military rites by VFW Post 5900.
