ADVANCE -- Funeral for Wayne A. Haws of De Soto, formerly of Advance, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Charles Woodard will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bloomfield.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 8-11 a.m.

Haws, 41, died Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Festus.

He was born Dec. 5, 1958, in St. Louis, son of Wesley and Shirley Sutton Haws.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Haws of De Soto; three brothers, Larry Haws of Farmington, Chad Haws of Doe Run, Donald Haws of Potosi; two sisters, Debbie Whittier of De Soto, Sherrie Weather of Bonne Terre; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.
