DONGOLA, Ill. - Wayne H. Dillow, 76, Dongola Route 2, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 1992, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He was born Nov. 4, 1915, in Union County, son of Ralph and Ruth Ury Dillow. He married Opel Speights Dec. 19, 1941, at Jackson, Mo. She died May 20, 1983...

DONGOLA, Ill. - Wayne H. Dillow, 76, Dongola Route 2, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 1992, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

He was born Nov. 4, 1915, in Union County, son of Ralph and Ruth Ury Dillow. He married Opel Speights Dec. 19, 1941, at Jackson, Mo. She died May 20, 1983.

Dillow was a retired farmer. He was a veteran of World War II, member of VFW Post in Anna, and member of St. John's Lutheran Church near Dongola.

Surviving are brothers Roy Dillow of Joliet and Ellis Dillow of Dongola.

Funeral service will be held today at 1 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church. The Rev. William Horn will officiate, with burial in St. John's Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the VFW post of Anna.
