PUXICO, Mo. -- A. Wayne Findley, 72, of Puxico died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, at his home.
He was born Nov. 22, 1928, at Puxico, son of the late Alfred L. and Pearl King Findley. He and Beverly Siler were married July 29, 1972, at Puxico.
Findley was a retired commercial vehicle inspector with the Missouri State Highway Patrol. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, served in the Signal Corps and was affiliated with the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Ronnie D. Stuart of Wappapello, Mo.; two brothers, F.A. Findley of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Ray Dean Findley of Columbia, Mo.; a sister, Wanda Parker of Columbia; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The Rev. Ray Placher and elder Jerry Park will officiate, with burial in Puxico Cemetery.
