THEBES, Ill. -- Wavie Coursey, 90, of Thebes, Ill., died Monday, Oct. 11, 1993, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 10, 1903, at Franklin County, Ill., daughter of Monroe and Minnie Bell Quillman Coursey.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Edith Lovell of Thebes; a brother, Taylor Coursey of Thebes; a sister, Daisy Light of Olive Branch, Ill.; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Charlie Fischer and James Coursey.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill., with the Rev. Billy Don Heady officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery near Thebes.
