BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Wanda "Gerry" Robinson, 89, of Bloomfield died Thursday, March 15, 2001, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter, Mo.
She was born Feb. 25, 1912, in Noble, Ill., daughter of George and Izora Wells Crowe. She and Howard Robinson were married Nov. 2, 1929, at Puxico, Mo. He preceded her in death in June 1991.
Gerry was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomfield and the United Methodist Women. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge, was an avid gardener, seamstress and homemaker. Gerry had worked at Corbin's Cleaners and Pepper's Bakery several years.
Survivors include three daughters, Joy Morgan of Advance, Mo., Mae Sanders of Troy, Mo., Shelby Sanders of Marthasville, Mo.; three sisters, Helen White of Bloomfield, Gladys Sadler of Dexter, Jean Fugate of Lebanon, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Debra Wise of Linn Creek, Mo., Donna Keller of Dexter, Candy Garska of Troy, Michael Kennard of Yakima, Wash., Gary Sanders of Glencoe, Mo., Robbie Sanders of Defiance, Mo.; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Liest officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church Building Fund.
