Wanda Mae Mouser, 88, of Jackson passed away Friday, June 9, 2017, at Jackson Manor.
She was born Aug. 13, 1928, in Jackson, daughter of Emery and Bessie Masters Slinkard. She and Earl Mouser were married Oct. 2, 1948. He passed away Jan. 10, 1995.
Wanda worked at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill for 20 years and Lenco in Jackson for 10 years. She was a member of Millersville United Methodist Church and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Jackson Elks Lodge.
Loving survivors include two sons, Brian and Bruce (Dena) Mouser, both of Jackson; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mamie Gibbs of Jackson and Carolyn (J.D.) Collins of St. Charles, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl; a son, Terry Wayne Mouser; and a brother-in-law, Johnny Gibbs.
Visitation was Saturday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Janet Hopkins officiating.
Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
