Wanda I. Martin, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 10, 1925, in Cape Girardeau to Melvin and Bertha Brase. She and Albert Martin were married Oct. 7, 1942, in Perryville, Mo. He preceded her in death in 2005.
Wanda was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. She owned and operated Imogene's Beauty Shop many years.
Survivors include three children, Jean Ann Cook, Kenny Martin and wife Linda and Linda Fisher and husband Robert, all of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Shirley Brase of Florissant, Mo.; five grandchildren, Kim Nance, Lori Williams, Jennifer Fairbank, Kelly Fisher and Kate Sievers; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Nathan Burgell officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
