Wanda J. (Skaggs) Louden of Jackson, formerly of Perryville, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at her home. She was 69.
She was born Nov. 6, 1939, in Perryville, Mo., daughter of the late Roy R. and Ruby A. Hand Skaggs.
Survivors include a brother, Calvin L. Skaggs of New York City; a niece, Sylvia Skaggs McTague of Madison, N.J.; and a nephew, J. Adam Skaggs of New York City.
Louden had been a remedial reading teacher for two decades with the Woodland School District in Marble Hill, Mo. She was a member of Shawnee Hills Baptist Church in Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Alison Louden Tritschler.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and will continue from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shawnee Hills Baptist Church in Jackson, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating.
Burial will be in Home Cemetery in Perryville.
