OMAHA, Neb. -- Wanda Lee Lemonds, 85, of Delta passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at home in Omaha, surrounded by family. She was a beloved wife, mother, "Maw Maw," sister and "Aunt Bug." She has gone home. No more not being her, no more not remembering, no more fighting, no more Alzheimer's disease. She will be forever loved and remembered...

OMAHA, Neb. -- Wanda Lee Lemonds, 85, of Delta passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at home in Omaha, surrounded by family.

She was a beloved wife, mother, "Maw Maw," sister and "Aunt Bug." She has gone home. No more not being her, no more not remembering, no more fighting, no more Alzheimer's disease. She will be forever loved and remembered.

She was born March 30, 1933, in Kennett, Missouri, to Howard and Aileen Shrum. Wanda and Ronald Lemonds were married June 21, 1952.

Wanda attended Fairview General Baptist church in Advance, Missouri.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Lemonds; a daughter, Rhonda (Susie) Lemonds of Omaha; a son, Richard Lemonds of Omaha; 11 grandchildren, Becky Ivester of Chaffee, Missouri, Jackie (Nate) Meisinger of Louisville, Nebraska, Justin (Nicole) Lemonds of Elkhorn, Nebraska, Rodney Lemonds of St Louis, Robby (Jennifer) Lemonds of Benton, Missouri, Katie (Sam) Bouchoucha of Tampa, Florida, Kevin Bartels of Columbus, Ohio, Cody Frohock of Jackson, Brayden Glueck of Chaffee, Jeff (Melissa) Wood of Fayette, Michigan, and Stacy (Brian) Roach of Davison, Michigan; and 15 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Trevor, Tyler, Morgan, Madi, Rylan, Mallory, Sam, Lena, Rylynn, Dalton, Broden, Wyatt, Hayden and Whitley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Jerd McCoy and Shirley Simpson; a brother, Howard "Sonny" Shrum; and her beloved sons, Randy and Keith Lemonds, both of Delta.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Arbor.
