Funeral service for Wanda Louise Moore of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Raymond Oxford will officiate, with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Fruitland.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. today.
Moore, 79, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born June 20, 1916, at Leemon, daughter of Wilson and Gusta Snider Morton. She and Floyd Moore were married July 9, 1945, in Jonesboro, Ark. He died Dec. 27, 1992.
Moore worked at International Shoe Co. 10 years. She was a member of Fruitland Methodist Church. She was raised in Fruitland, had lived in Wolf Lake, Ill., moving to Cape Girardeau in 1956.
Survivors include a son, Lonnie Moore of Winter Garden, Fla.; a daughter, Kaye Walker of McClure, Ill.; a sister, Betty Nicholas of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
