Wanda Ruth Craig, 59, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, at her home.
She was born Oct. 25, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Frank and Betty Bowman Schweppe. She and Ralph Craig were married July 22, 1972, in Cape Girardeau.
Wanda was a 1971 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School. She was a supervisor 30 years at the former Thorngate factory. She devoted herself to her family and grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She also actively enjoyed gardening, decorating and remodeling.
In addition to her husband, loving survivors include her mother of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Ralph Jr. (Rachel) Craig of Jackson, David (Jaime) Craig of Perryville, Mo.; three grandchildren, Gracen Craig of Jackson, Gavin and Annaliese Craig of Perryville; a stepgrandson, Sebastian Winkler of Jackson; and a brother, Frank E. Schweppe of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Cape County Cowboy Church in Oak Ridge.
McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
